My thoughts on…the cat that knows when you’re going to die
August 31st 2008 -
Cats are evil. Always have been. From their suspicious associations with bad luck, witches and women (which further proves my point), cats are nature’s furry little evildoers. Reminds me of this cat I once had named Chelsea. I never forgave that bitch for stealing my chicken. Don’t believe me? By the end of this post you WILL believe. People, I introduce to you Oscar, that cat that knows when you’re going to die. This little fellow has the strange ability to sense when nursing patients are going to die, as he curls up next to them in their final hours. So far, he has correctly predicted 25 deaths, leading to staff calling the victim’s patient’s family members whenever he makes a visit.
“He doesn’t make too many mistakes. He seems to understand when patients are about to die,” Dr. David Dosa said in an interview. He’s accurate. Too accurate. Wonder if he keeps a bloody knife under all that fur. No one knows exactly how he does this. Some say its instinct, I say it’s something more sinister. Need any more proof? This furry Grim Reaper “takes his work seriously and is not friendly to people.” That pic above isn’t of him. Check this blog post and you’ll see the harbinger of death himself. This story is actually old, about a year old in fact. But I’m posting this for your safety. Oscar’s just the beginning. It’s time to eradicate this species. It may be difficult, but it’s not like mankind hasn’t eliminated species before. Remember: commit felicide as much as possible.

I do think animals have that uncanny ability to sense illness, death and even disasters.

I read that many family members were glad that this little critter curled up next to their loved one and gave them comfort in their final moments. I guess it’s all in how you look at it.
