They said he had a pipe, threaded caps, bb's and some unknown liquid. I dont really know about the liquid but if he's making a pipe bomb wich they want to imply then it's probably alcohol. The pipe and caps you can get at any hardware store, and while you wont find bb's too easily, you can always buy marbles or ball bearings or use nails. My other major problem is that he admitted that he wanted to show people how to make bombs. The items he carried were not illegal by themself, and cannot make a bomb by themself. He left out the 3 other things necessary (which we will not post here) to make a pipe bomb. Had he said he just liked the way they look they couldn't hold him for anything, even if they didn't believe him. I feel for Kevin Brown, and how he has now placed Jamaica in an unsavoury position/spotlight. He needs help; who is going to provide it? And how do we solve the problem that LongBench mentioned? But I also notice that no attention is being given to the how, why and aftermath of his mother's death; its all about Iraq and how Jamaica is being perceived. Classic responses of Jamaicans to every problem that comes up -- don't look at yourself, just blame everybody else and avoid taking responsibility. The man was depressed and was not getting the kind of help or support he needed. And it seems that the only choice that men who are in crisis believe they have is to do violence to everyone around them. Iraq didn't create that problem; we did. The irony is noted.
