Actually I think SP3 is cool, and though I am currently running Vista and Suse Linux 10.2 (dual boot), I may go back to XP because of the faster speeds and software compatibility (am in Uni and my software for my courses aren't running well on Vista!). But if you do want XP SP3, it is available to beta testers like myself (not sure if it is out to public domain as I type this). A copy can be had.
