My thoughts on…the Heroes Season 2 premiere
Since I got the Internet at home, I’ve hardly watched any TV. In fact, YouTube has replaced by TV, mostly because television doesn’t offer much entertainment nowadays. I’m tired of being force-fed crap from the major networks. But there are still some show that make me stay glued to the ol’ glowin’ box. Heroes is one of them.
Ever since I heard of the upcoming premiere of the new season, I was convinced that I wouldn’t miss it. But I missed about half of it ’cause my dad was watching news. Curse you and your incessant need to stay abreast of current events! Still it was good. Pretty eventful for a season premiere. And, like any good one, it leaves you with a lot of questions to draw you deeper into the story.
Here’s the lowdown for those who missed it. (Not in any particular order.) Hiro’s in feudal Japan, finding out that his childhood hero is a complete disappointment. (Big surprise. They almost always are.) His dad got done in by a hooded man, probably Sylar. (No! They killed Mr. Sulu!) Claire was doing her cheerleader thing, looking hot as usual. She meets a new guy, Wes, who I’m guessing will be her future love interest. He’s secretly “special,” (not in the retarded way).
Molly has a freaky dream and Matt goes through a trippy experience trying to decipher it. Mr. Bennett opens a can of whoop ass on his boss. Met two new characters, Maya and Alejandro. Maya’s got some freaky mass-murdering power. Three guesses as to who’ll be Sylar’s next target? Some Irish guys raid a trailer looking for iPods, (yes. iPods) and find Peter…alive with amnesia. WTF? This guy’s got more lives than a cat and Jesus put together!
Lovin’ it already! My TV will definitely get more attention from me on Monday nights.

I have some major catching up to do. I wonder if they’ll repeat last season’s episodes? LOL. Oh well, that’s what happens when you hardly watch TV.
I haven’t seen this yet but I am looking forward to it. I have my TIVO set up to record all the fall season shows that peak my interest. I just need to find the time to actually sit down.

I’m not surprised Peter is alive.. actaully I’m glad he has amnesia. That goes to show u the level of his regeneration powers. Yes he may get blown to piecesm but that doesn’t mean he’ll always be whole.

I am so glad I got a DVR with my cable service… I have it record Heroes when it airs and then I can watch it any time. I caught the first episode but haven’t seen the second yet. Its a cool show and the marketing behind it is great… but they better fix a few loop holes in the story.
