My thoughts on…hot girls, ugly men?
Today I read one of the most unbelievable articles ever. It had the headline “We only date ugly men.” Here’s the article if you don’t believe me. It talks about women who find muscular good-looking men unattractive. The first thing I thought is, “are these women insane?” You mean to tell me if Brad or Denzel offered themselves to them, they’d turn them down? But actually their reason for loving the not-so-fair fellows makes a lot of sense. Ugly guys, according to them, they harder, are more interesting, perform better in bed and are more intriguing, among other things.
And these girls are not desperate or ugly either. These girls are the type that you’d drop your girlfriend for in a minute. Hot, bright eyed blondes with cute smiles. But on some level, I must applaud these women. They are not shallow like most. They are actually able to see beyond to exterior of their potential suitors. I feel a bit betrayed. All the money spent on products to maintain my sexy or improve it, and it turns out that women want the opposite now? The mystery called woman has gotten a lot harder to figure out, gentlemen. Now excuse me. I’ve got to go knock out some teeth and shave my head.
I can actually understand this. Personally, I don’t find the “pretty” boys interesting. They’re too busy worrying about their looks to notice anything around them, lol.
I find the natural, rugged, and even the ones with the beer bellys, more attractive.

Hasn’t it always been like that? Some hot females or even hot males go for the not-so-hot counterparts. I guess they mainly say those people are more genuine than the ’sexy/hot’ ones. They even think they MAY not have to worry about to much drama with them. As I say to each his own… I guess I’ll try to spark up a convo with some of those HOT chicks I see and see where I land… hehehehe
I doubt Jamaican girls think that way, unless the man has a “get gyal wallet”!
actually Leon, there is something to it. First of all, the man who looks good to me probably looks good to all the other women on the street and so there is stiff competition to get and keep him. Secondly, he probably knows he is pretty so he will leave all the hard work up to me and rest on his laurels. Well, this is a first. I once heard that men liked to marry ugly women because they didn’t think they would stray, but they themselves felt entitled to do so. If women or men are choosing partners based solely on looks, then I predict a superficial relationship at best with no staying power. Looks are great; I was immediately physically attracted to my husband, but we haven’t stuck it out because of that. Sometimes I wonder what people want in romance.
