My thoughts on…the Debra Lafave case
The Debra Lafave case has brought a whole new meaning to the term “teacher-student relations.” The 25 year old teacher of Florida was charged for engaging in a series of sexual acts with a 14 year old student, but charged were dropped on Tuesday when the “victim” didn’t testify. The reason? Possible psychological trauma. Yeah right! The guy’s probably getting high fives from all the guys in his school right now! Psychological trauma, my foot! He has achieved what very few young men achieve: the dream of shagging your hot teacher.
Every guy has had at least one. You always paid attention in her class, and either tried to get high grades just to impress her or got low grades just to get individual attention. When she turned to write on the board, you discreetly scanned every inch of her body. Her long, flowing hair, her Barbie-like waist, her round, tight buttocks (and I know you played “Guess the underwear” while you did that, you perv) and her long, smooth legs. When she turned around you did the same, but this time you tried to make it seem as if you were paying attention to the subject. Her smile brightened your day, and her touch sent shivers down your spine. And you wished with all you heart that one day she would call you into her office for seemingly scholastic reasons, then declare her burning passion for you. You would reveal you feelings as well, and she, armed with her sexual experience, would make a man out of you. Girls have had them too, but I can only speak for this half of the species.
Lafave didn’t get off scot-free though. She lost her teaching license and got 3 years house arrest plus 7 years probation, but that’s a slap on the wrist compared to what a guy would get. He would be locked up in prison right now, worrying about dropping the soap. The double standard in the U.S justice system is disturbing. But then again, look at her. Any judge, no matter how cold would have a hard time convicting her. She probably flashed him a couple sexy smiles and winks during the trial. Undeniable proof that yes, beautiful people do have life easier. Me, I want to find that kid and ask him for some pointers. I’m having trouble with my own age group, but this kid transcended his and managed to get his super hot teacher in the sack. Lucky bastard. Lafave, if you’re by some miracle reading this blog, I’m a student. A college student, but a student nonetheless. Does that count for anything?
Do you think you would have been able to emotionally handle an affair with an older woman? I thought she was wrong in this case. I know society expects boys to have sex at a young age and there is a double standard if this was a good looking male teacher and a 14 year old girl. If this woman wasn’t so pretty, would you still feel the same? Interesting subject for debate.

What I find weird is, she was a role model (a teacher) and she exposed herself is some pretty sexual pictures for magazines

I thought the same thing and none of my teachers ever looked that hot. I totally get why the boy would want that. But damn….why on EARTH would a woman that good looking want a 14 year old boy? I DON”T GET THAT.

I’m not even grossed out by this case…I just don’t understand what a 14-year-old would have to offer! Then again, kids are maturing so damn fast anymore… at least physically.

I don’t know what school you went to to have those “barbie-type” teachers of yours, but all of my female teachers were nursing home rejects who looked like they were relatives of Tyler Perry’s Grandma Madea. So, unfortunately, I didn’t get to have those deluded-sexual-driven-high-school-teacher-student fantasies.
Leon I totally agree and for the naysayers talking about whether a teenager could handle the emotional aspect of sex with a teacher, well most people aren’t emotionally ready for any type of sexual relationship until they are into their twenties.

I think the kid was able to “handle it” just fine. It was his mommy that couldn’t handle it. But if the mom was so concerned, she should have allowed her son to testify. You can’t send someone to jail for a “crime” if the victim refuses to say that he was a victim.
LaFave should not be allowed to be a teacher, but as far as I’m concerned, that should be her only punishment.
To all those who are asking if the kid could handle it emotionally, let me tell you something. A 14 year old kid isn’t going to pass an opportunity like that up. Emotions are irrelevant. Kas, too bad for you. And for those wondering why she did it, her amrriage was on the rocks and the knowledge that intercourse with a minor was forbidden turned her on. And yeah wally, I envy them too.
Oh and yanx007, she was trying to be a model while teaching. A girl that hot couldn’t stay a simple school teacher for long.

There should be a double standard in this country period. I don’t think woman molesting young boys is same as men molseting younger girls. Yes there will be emotional issues but it’s not dramatic as men abusing younger girls. Besides, you will get away with anything in this country if you’re good looking like Debra Lafave.
