My thoughts on…Baby Brangelina

It’s official. The rumours have been confirmed. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, better known as “Brangelina”, are having a baby together. The child has already been dubbed “Baby Brangelina”, and is scheduled to make its debut this summer. Jolie, whose pillowy lips have been the subject of many a man’s fantasy, is doing well, and is making costume changes for her new role to suit her pregnancy, and Brad, that chiseled hunk of a man, couldn’t be happier. People are wondering how Jennifer Aniston, Brad’s ex-wife, will react, how the baby will look (with two such gorgeous parents), and if the couple will follow the new Hollywood tradition of giving children weird names that ensure childhood trauma, like Apple (Gwyneth Paltrow) and Pilot Inspektor (Jason Lee).

I’m glad for both of them, but I kinda sympathize with Jen. She spent four and a half years of her life with Brad, then comes Mr. and Mrs. Smith, the infamous movie that brought Brad and Angelina together and tore Brad and Jen apart. I hoped that their marriage would stand the test of time, but as many failed movie star hopefuls can tell you, hope doesn’t last long in Hollywood. Jennifer is now with Vince Vaughn (obviously a rebound), and has blasted the couple, saying they won’t last a year. I tend to agree. After all, it is a Hollywood marriage, baby or not.

Leon, thanks for visiting my blog. I agree with you about Jennifer. I felt bad for her. I don’t agree with divorce, and I feel she got screwed over. Brad and Angelina aren’t going to last, even if she is going to have his baby.
Hollywood marriages are just as phony as the movies that are produced there…

I think Vince Vaughn is cute and funny. Maybe he’s not a rebound. I don’t know.

That pic you got there with Brad and Angelina looks like on Conan O’Brien when they do the “If they mated…” thing and merge their pictures. I was just envisioning that…LOL.

Wow, I was thinking the same thing too! I was thinking of adding it to the post but obviously the Sexiest Man and Woman alive couldn’t have an ugly baby. Or could they?

Well Brad must be thrilled to bits seeing that he was so keen to start a family.Not holding my breath for a long term romance though
